NEWS – Bolsena kicks off the second edition of Borsa dei laghi
The workshop for showing buyers interesting itineraries in the various provinces in Lazio.
11-12-2009 To promote the tourist charms of the lakes in Lazio in national and international markets more effectively, the second edition of the workshop “Green tourism and lakes” gets underway tomorrow, the project is sponsored by the tourist local authority of Lazio region through Sviluppo Lazio and ATLazio that goes beyond regional borders. After the success encountered last year, this second edition of the lakes workshop is focused on improving the meeting point between buyers and sellers. The initiative includes one day for the workshop, on the 13th November in Bolsena, and two days for eductours to show buyers the interesting itineraries in the various provinces in Lazio. More than 130 regional companies will present the regional tourist offer (water sports, cycling, cultural tours in villages and protected areas), wine and food tours and green tourism) to a selected group of tour operators, specialized travel agencies, associations and Cral (workers leisure activities) from the main international markets (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Netherland, Norway, United States and Sweden). After the day dedicated to the workshop, there will be two eductours organized to enable tour operators and journalists to experience the regional tourist offer. The first one is a visit to the Lungo and Ripa Sottile Lakes Reserve, to the Farfa Abbey and Fiano Romano, going towards the Bracciano Lake and Odescalchi Castle. The second eductour starts in Bolsena and then continues with the picturesque Fogliano village, Sabaudia and the Circeo park. The tour ends up with a visit to Castel Gandolfo and Nemi Lake.
