Rome and Lazio Grand Tour Operator
Region Lazio and City of Rome Tourist Board created a scheme denominated Grand Tour Operator in order to improve the relationship between tourism offer and demand in Lazio and produce more effective strategies for promotional activities, This scheme allows characterisation, qualification and selection of tourism firms from Lazio willing to be directly in touch with National and International Tour Operators. The Gran Tour Operator circuit opens to three, four and five stars hotels, Tour Operators, consortiums and join ventures aiming at mentor them to focus on an adequate market. Membership will allow spotting more qualified Tourism Offer and responding to the latest typologies of visitors needs (Cultural and Archaeological Tourism, Sport and Leisure Tourism, Religious, Welfare and Thermal Tourism, Conference and University Tourism). Moreover, it will consent the companies to promote their services to segmented clientele (adults, seniors, students, physically challenged, families, companies). The system creates a database -both logistic and descriptive- able to filter information by Category and Specified Sectors. This responds to the demand of validity and reliability of information regarding segmented offers required by Tour Operators operating from Italy and abroad.
